This fellow was watching me and decided to strike a pose for me.

Squirrels are always cooperative for camera testing.

he has a bad eye :(

Cheeky squirrel in my garden in South Norfolk.

Although this squirrel is real, it's also the work of a taxidermist. The once-living rodent is on display for educational purposes at a nearby nature center.

"Squirrels are just rats with cuter outfits." -- Carrie Bradshaw

As i crept closer the squirrel rather bizarrely decided he was going to pretend to be a part of the bark of the tree and its rather a good camouflage.

Red Squirrel - Giroux Road - Ottawa

This squirrel was on the tree outside our house. My daughter gave it some food and it got vdry trusting. I got like, 4 feet from it.

Right after this shot, and before I could react, he took the geode and tossed it to the ground before getting a drink from the water stream of the fountain. Guess he felt crowded. I have to replace the geode on the top of the fountain at least once a day.

Squirrel in Thunder Bay - ON

Grey squirrel earlier this morning whilst off on a stroll

This guy came up to the garden door, the blurred bit is the door frame, I thought I should keep that in to illustrate how close it is. He looks really happy...

I love my squirrel buddy. This one visits me everyday on my front porch.

"Living at a university can be weird sometimes. To commence means 'to begin' everywhere else but here it seems to mean to end since commencement comes at the end of their semester. The students seem more stressed and high-strung as the end draws near, but then when it happens they get all excited and their parents and friends all come to take pictures of them and give flowers and balloons. Actually, right after commencement is the beginning of a week where we squirrels pretty much get the run of campus, so maybe that's what it means. That's so nice of them to think of us like that."

Squirrel feasting on pumpkin

A playful squirrel outside of my house. It's actually running down the tree, but I think it looks good flipped, it makes it looks a bit like it is modelling on the tree. The little silver plaque makes it look even more so. I've never noticed that before and not quite sure what it says. I may have to take a walk outside and have a look at some point.

.

Bold and brazen at that. He didn't care I was eight or so feet him. he wasn't moving. So I put the camera to my face and shot this. Then he turned around I got another shot and then he took off to the tree which was behind him. I proceeded up my ramp, as I was going into my door I wanted to make sure he wasn't close by so Jasper wouldn't give chase. The squirrel was about my head about 4 feet away, not a care in the world. I was just happy that Jasper wasn't paying attention to anything other than his toy. Day 21:365 @sharkbayte

Red Squirrel

(Sciurus Vulgaris)

Squirrel eating food on the patio.

He was crossing over my back yard on the power line, but he was curious about me (and the camera). Yes, he has a bit of spiderweb on his ear.

The same one we met at the Osaka Castle, but this time a squirrel tama-zuwari? Think it's a boy.

He was just about to start grooming. :)

A squirrel having lunch in Finsbury Park, London. 2nd January 2015.

I had to blackmail the squirrel with a cookie for the photo. Taken in a park in London.
