i didn't have to be at work until 9am the other day and got to my local subway station at about 8:30 or so. i couldn't get on the first train that pulled into the station. i live two stops from manhattan into brooklyn.
i think i forgot what rush hour is about as i'm normally at work just before 7:30 each day and this sort of thing never happens to me. sometimes, not always, i get a seat. yes, the train is crowded at 7am.
so if low-level housing is being demolished in my neighborhood at a quickening pace and being replaced with high rise luxury dwelling, how are those people going to get to work in manhattan?

Part of a major rebuilding programme in the City after the Great Fire of London, the church was designed by Sir Christopher Wren. At 111m high, it was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1962.

This picture was taken at the Niah Cave National Park in the Miri District of Sarawak, Malaysia, Borneo. The Niah cave has shown evidence of human habitation in excess of 40000 years. Besides its archeological finds, there has been ongoing economic interests in the extraction of guano from the cave bottom and the collection of bird nests from the cave ceiling, nests that are valued in the making of soup, i.e. bird nest soup. Access to the caves is by crossing the Niah River and then several miles of trail before reaching the caves.

Since the endangered CNW signal bridge was still untouched at the Foamer Containment Zone at Rochelle at the time, I dropped by for an eastbound YouPee with a SD70ACe leader. I had to take a dump anyway, so it all worked out. I left the Petting Zoo satisfied and several pounds lighter.

I called it 'Squeeze unit' because you can push the sides and the model changes. In this case you will have a cube with triangular flaps. See next pic

Yellow Bunny - Chick in egg which open and closes when tilted
Nosy Bears were produced by Playskool from 1987 to the early 90's. They were plush teddies (plus a few bunnies) with plastic globes on their noses. When their bellies were squeezed various items in their noses would move about from the air pumped in. The smaller Baby Nosy Bears and Nosy Bunnies had snowglobe type noses which were filled with a liquid.
