For several years now, these hydrangeas have been blooming twice each year; once in the spring and again in the fall. Thanks for the look.

A sign that Spring is suddenly with us, a carpet of snowdrops with a few cyclamen.

Longing for springtime to arrive! I want to see butterflies, bees and other insects again, trees in bloom, birds nesting and me sitting in the sun!

Captured in a neighbor's garden in Santa Rosa, California.

Take care of yourself and others!

I found Mr Maine Coon catnapping in our garden this morning.

He raised his head for a quick look, but did not stir himself.

So I took a few more garden shots and included him in a collage.

Happy Sunday!

Prunus cerasifera

A walk on the ice, realising the spring is really behind the corner. A dark tone due to dark ages, but we must all remember that there is always a little stray of light giving us hope.

Get out there and get those legs and lungs pumping for there is so much to enjoy !

Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.

Have a safe and sweet spring day dear Flickr friends !

Sometimes the most valuable treasure is simply the ability to see beauty in the world around us.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIEWS, COMMENTS, FAVES AND INVITES! ♥️

What a surprise when this Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly flew right in front of me and landed in a sunny spot just a few feet from where I was walking.

It sat for a few minutes basking in the sun and long enough for me to grab a few shots before it took off. The surprise is that it was the first weekend of spring and even though the days were warming up the nights were still chilly.

Seen at a nearby arboretum on a nice sunny day.

Sunshine and showers today, not great to be out in but it did produce some lovely light.
