Taken for Saturday Self ~ Challenge Mirroring.
One of the tricks of mirroring is to make it very difficult to see that it actually has been mirrored - I had fun with this one.
The meadow is in a part of Erba Park near the juncture of the Regnitz River and the park creek known as the fish pass. Captured about an hour after noon on a day at the end of May a few years ago, and now re-edited. [DSC02112_lr_3000]

My daffodils are now in full bloom and there's no chance winter is coming back at all, much as I may wish it! I have no problems with Spring. I love Spring. But here in Virginia it only lasts about 30 seconds and then it's on to heat and humidity! LOL Have a wonderful day everyone, Anita and I are off in search of some adventure. :)
Springtime is here. The hawthorn is one of my favorites. Love the scent and the insects it attracts.
Once again, one of my favorite places. A small bridge over a lily pond in a castle park, in springtime!

Built somewhere around the mid 18th Century as a "Watch Cottage" or hut for the estate staff, although the 1841 census states that it was actually lived in by two servants, and in 1851 by two elderly females described as "almswomen". In the early 19th Century it was the fashion to "pretty up" basic buildings, and the porch and Gothic style windows were installed, the area of dense trees around it was cleared and landscaped and the cottage became a feature of the garden.
Following renovation in the early 1900s it became a summer house and was used by Lady Alda Hoare as a favourite place to write her letters. But post WW2 it was used as a place where estate gardeners could brew up some tea and warm themselves in front of the fire. By 2004 the cottage was in a state of collapse with rotten roof timbers and cracked walls due to subsidence. It was restored over the next four years and is now once again a pretty feature of the Stourhead estate.

It is spring, so time to post a few Warblers, starting off with this beautiful Palm Warbler. Spotted at the Pool, Central Park, New York.
A shot taken this afternoon in St James' Park.
London today has been tormented by a strong wind and heavy showers, however, the Park, beautified by carpets of blooming daffodils, was still crowded with tourists and visitors, happy to enjoy the few hours of peace granted by the elements. Some spots looked lovely in the diffused light of this cloudy day, like the one chosen by the lovers in this shot, located a few meters away from the Blue Bridge.

With a lengthy sand train in tow, this eastbound Union Pacific train approaches the west end of Rock siding near Sugar Island on UP's Adams Subdivision. The springtime melt has taken place, causing the Rock River to reach well over it's banks again and afford a decent reflection from the surface of it's muddy waters. My scanner batteries went dead waiting, so I was unable to hear the train ID.
