Tulips and blue grapes in Keukenhof, one of the world's largest flower gardens, situated in the municipality of Lisse, south of Haarlem and southwest of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The park is located in an area called the "Duin- en Bollenstreek" (Dune and Bulb Region).
Keukenhof covers an area of 32 hectares and approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted in the gardens annually.
Keukenhof is widely known for its tulips, and it also features numerous other flowers, including hyacinths, daffodils, lilies, roses, carnations and irises.

Springtime in Montana: Montana Rail Link’s Paradise local is heading back to Paradise and is just west of Toole, Montana, on May 3, 2012. Under a leaden sky that is occasionally spitting rain, two venerable EMD GP9s, Nos. 113 and 127, power the train past some early blooming shrubs and flowers along a murky Clark Fork. Wish this local was still running today…
Starting to see a few bluebells poking through. Doesn't seem long since I was out amongst them last year!

Just a couple of days ago we received a blast of snow that powdered all of the trees making for a springtime delight for the eyes to behold. So very beautiful indeed.
Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.

I visited this field in Sherfield-on-Loddon today at the side of the River. Last year it was full of Ragged Robin and buttercups. This year - just buttercups and some clover. I suppose the Ragged Robin must be biennial. A pity but still lovely meadow. I am hoping they will not build on it.
What a week.... so so busy with one thing and another, hope you are all well and I promise to catch up over the (long) weekend. Happy fence Friday folks... have a fantastic weekend☺️xxx
These are crabapple blossoms for which I slightly saturated the colour and I used an impressionism filter (Renoir) to dress them up. I hope you enjoy! HSS!
