Omega got 2 serves of Bak Kut Teh from Straits Cafe in Wantirna. Good, but the 当归 angelica is a bit weak.

There was also Hong's Endive and Mandarin Salad with home-grown mandarins and mint, After Dinner Mint that was refreshing.

These sons of bitches end up taking me about 20 minutes EACH by the time all the prep work is done and they're assembled, better to buy them at a restaurant, but mine are just the way I like them, with lots of herbs and not a lot of filler BS.

Sweet and creamy, with hints of Cloves. It is a breaded Springroll, can you believe that? The pair of Birds eye Chilis are meant for counter balancing the sweet filling.

Pork, jumbo lump crab, dried and rehydrated wood ear mushrooms, cilantro, cellophane noodles, garlic, mung bean sprouts, soy sauce, dark sesame oil, fresh ginger plus other aromatics and seasonings. Plated with cilantro and Nuoc cham sauce.

dim sum. from the plaza restaurant. here there is short ribs in black bean sauce in the back, deep fried spring rolls on the side, and steamed minced beef with bean curd (and ginger on top!) Mmmm.
