Always a festive, happy day when Spring finally arrives. Vamoose Old Man Winter….welcome vernal equinox.
The sun broke thru the clouds to highlight the verdant, layered farming fields of Washington state's Palouse. Such is Spring's bounty. Bring it on.
Happy First Day of Spring!
Every work has to start somewhere, and what better way of starting a decoration stream then to create an office space where ideas are turned from imagination into reality.
Considering its time of spring, freshness and rebirths, I chose to name my office : Spring office
It brings a blend of "cold" materials and darker tones with a bit of quite fresh and vivant greens that collide well and provide viewer with transgression from winter to spring. I decided to keep it as a minimalist office area, centralizing with a wood base on top of modern black table that I "polluted" using modern tech and few other details. My personal favorite in this small work station area is surely Mud Honey Jerry Office Chair that has quite vivid green leather.
Website following my interior designs will be added in near future as its still "in making" so for now I leave this small start area of my designs here.
*cheers*

Taipei has been raining for a week. However it is spring and blossoming should be the scene now.
最近北部天氣不佳,即使已經是春天了,還是不見春意,只好分享,去年在伊豆半島,拍到的油菜花田。

This was taken Monday evening before Tuesday's snow. I've taken thousands of shots from this spot on the ninth floor and can pretty much tell you the month from where the sun is setting over the mountains. This is March :-D

Some pink and purple Rhododendron bushes in Cowden Hall Estate in Neilston. A bit of a throwback to when it was a posh blokes garden.
It wasn't the best light, noon and bluebird day, but I thought this LE shot still turned out pretty good despite the harsh light and shadows.
Alcove Springs was a popular stop along the Oregon Trail near Independence Crossing in Marshall County, Kansas. Travelers along the trail gave the springs its name. The spring is active all year, but is also fed by a seasonal stream and waterfall.

Cows in spring. Looking for shade of a dead oak? Ruminating and relaxing anyway. These cows are an old Dutch breed, Blaarkoppen. (Blisterheads translated). Nederlands: Blaarkoppen op de rand van weiland en nieuwe natuur in de kop van Drenthe.

Tulip / Tulpe (Tulipa) in a vase
More tulips in my personal Tulip Collection.
The leaves are nearly fully developed at this location along the Monocacy Creek.

I went to see the Hanami, the cherry blossoms at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California. It was a very busy place on Sunday. This is the main area with the pond, and the Upper House in the back.
I processed a realistic, a paintery, a photographic, and a balanced HDR photo from two RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
