Late post today, didn't have time to upload before heading home from NY state. Just got back and will catch up with all your photos from this past week. Hope you all had a good one!
Some flowers from late spring (May 30). Captured at Longwood Gardens in Pa, with the iPhone and Olloclip Macro Lens lightly edited on the iPad in Snapseed.
Forgot what kind of flowers were.
Have a black and white version that I might post in the future.
Purple is the colour for the holy season of Lent, and the word 'Lent' comes from the Old English for 'Spring' because it is during Lent that we are to grow and flourish in grace again after the winter of our sins.

After four and a half months of walking on snow and ice the Good Lord created Spring and everything is becoming alive again. Springtime makes the heart young again.
This was taken in my flower/bird garden. Everything bloomed late, then was gone because it warmed up so fast. Now it's very cool again, GO FIGURE! Seems like Spring has gotten shorter and shorter the last few years. This was also my first shots with my new little 50mm lens... I think I will really enjoy this one!!

Standing in the centre of its own enclosure and bordered by a moat, the massed rectangular dwelling, covered with a pavilion roof, the castle of Martainville was built in 1485. The great originality lies in its absolutely symmetrical plan. The castle has been listed as a historic monument since 1889. Since 1961 it has housed the Museum of Norman Traditions and Arts.

Spring Ridge is on the relatively lightly trafficked New South Wales cross country line from Werris Creek to Binnway and beyond.
