So this is what you mean
And this is how you feel
So this is how you see
And this is how you breathe
Sometimes
I know
Sometimes
I go down deep
Title: Sometimes I believe I can fly when standing high upon an overlook. I'm hooked on every step along the way, this has become my guide in life. 🌌 - via Instagram: ift.tt/2jPOvZS Info: Follow a journey of adventurous metaphors; dive into the belly of self-love with unyielding trust and peace through the flow of Yoga, Meditation, Insight, Wellness, & Life. ift.tt/KhKH1x
we were playing with lighting (yes on the kitchen table - the Authority was at yoga). Please take a look in the light box.
Please note: the comments shot is staged (play acting) ... she was actually perfectly happy/silly ... I asked her to try a mad face and she made a sad face instead.
A movie of a ketosterol molecule undergoing a flip-flop in a lipid bilayer. To our knowledge this is the first time a sterol flip-flop has been seen in a molecular dynamics simulation. The ketosterol molecule that undergoes flip flop is given in van der Waals representation and the rest of the lipid and sterol molecules are shown using sticks. The simulation was done with explicit (SPC) water, but water is not shown in the movie for clarity.
Flip-flop, sometimes also called transverse diffusion, is one of the possible modes for lipid diffusion in biological membranes (lipid bilayers).
Ketosterol is a biological molecule which has a structure similar to cholesterol except that cholesterol's hydroxyl headgroup is replaced by a ketone group.
NOTE: For some reason, flickr didn't preserve the quality when converting the video. If you prefer the higher quality one, you can download it.

Sometimes it seems to take forever to complete a panel...then you see it on the light-box for the first time...
Ah, now I see the problem.....well, part of it anyway.

restricted food and not being seen eating are key parts of our lives but also such a strong lack of response to peer pressure and needing to be in fashion - freedom at the cost of ostracization

Watch out
You might get what youre after
Cool babies
Strange but not a stranger
Im an ordinary guy
Burning down the house
Hold tight wait till the partys over
Hold tight were in for nasty weather
There has got to be a way
Burning down the house
Heres your ticket pack your bag: time for jumpin overboard
The transportation is here
Close enough but not too far, maybe you know where you are
Fightin fire with fire
All wet
Hey you might need a raincoat
Shakedown
Dreams walking in broad daylight
Three hun-dred six-ty five de-grees
Burning down the house
It was once upon a place sometimes I listen to myself
Gonna come in first place
People on their way to work baby what did you except
Gonna burst into flame
My house
Sout of the ordinary
Thats might
Dont want to hurt nobody
Some things sure can sweep me off my feet
Burning down the house
No visible means of support and you have not seen nuthin yet
Everythings stuck together
I dont know what you expect starring into the tv set
Fighting fire with fire

Taking this shot made me realise what a great medium B&W photography is I think I'll just take a day and shoot B&W
Off the main trail at Oakland Town Forest. I really like how much attention and protection fragile areas were given in this preserve. Plus they used whole boards and you can see the shape of the tree they came from.
The ethnically, linguistically and resource-rich region known as the Caucasus is the focus of this WorldCanvass Studio.
Sitting at the dividing line between Europe and Asia and encompassing parts of Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Caucasus has long served as a crossroads for travelers and traders as well as smugglers and terrorists. It is also home to a culturally complex mixture of peoples with different religions, languages, traditions, political-economic challenges and expectations of the future.
Both the birthplace of great literature and art by such masters as Tolstoy and Pushkin and the point of contact—and sometimes conflict—between opposing forces, the region continues to be of vital importance to contemporary world affairs because of its geographical position and because of its vast natural resources, including oil.
WorldCanvass Studio guests convened around the topic “The Caucasus as a Crossroads: Dagestan, Russia and Regional Security” in the Old Capitol Senate Chamber from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, October 27.
Joining host Joan Kjaer in conversation were Kazbek Sultanov, Institute of World Literatures, Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation; Robert Bruce Ware, Department of Philosophy, Southern Illinois University; and William Reisinger, Department of Political Science at the University of Iowa in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Sometimes as artists, we struggle with immense self-doubt, feelings of failure. And then sometimes, we're granted to step outside of ourselves and see the work we're doing and see that really, we're on the right track. It may be hard, but we're headed in the right direction.
These portraits are like that for me. In the middle of a soul-searching decision to return to the MFA or not, and a failure of a shooting day(s), I look up, and catch myself like this, and it feels so right, so normal that I am here. I'm onion-skinning, and if you know anything about Dragonframe, you know that means I'm making a last-ditch effort to save a scene which probably cannot be saved. But that's okay. Because here I am. And here I am supposed to be.
**While the self-portraits on set have been heretofore accidental, I will admit to staging the last two in this set. The first shot was indeed accidental. But once I saw the interesting effects of onion skinning on the self, I had to experiment.
Hhmm. So I didnt want to use my flash and let this random guy know I was totally taking his shot hence the background people blur but I do still like it. (Yes I was totally a creeper) Although his friends hat annoys me. I also got a photo of him with Roger (my film camera) when he was sitting down and smoking and I reeeeeeeeeeally hope that turns out because he was kinda hot. Not that I smoke or like smoking or encourage it.. -it just makes for good photos sometimes. Haha. Anyway this was all whilst Brendan was taking photos of the rain hahaha.
Sometimes you have to get a little dirty to do the right thing. Nine of Transwestern's San Antonio ladies participated in the 2012 5K Dirty Girl Mud Run, benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The Dirty Girl Mud Run is an untimed obstacle course that encourages teamwork and bonding amoung all women.
Sometimes in life, when a man is broke... he can only try his brother's new DSLR.
Our time was brief, unfortunately.
sometimes i think my heart will break into pieces of glass and cut me so deep that I won't be able to recover.
maybe i'm too sensitive...i've been told that overtime that I will become immune to the pain, the sorrow, the heartless side of man.
but i can't help but feel a tinge of pain within when i hear the patient's voice quiver in fear or pain.
Yet today, the patient's words touched me so deeply that my heart ache for another reason.
w/ a voice barely audible, she told me ...
i'm special and because of that, I will be punished and will suffer but I must never give in and sell my soul....you must never lose yourself, stay true to who you are.
and then she smiled.
a veces quisiera creerle a Fukuyama y a Huntington
sometimes I forget flickr
and the fact is that sometimes I forget everything
sometimes I wonder if it is better in this way
sometimes I choose not to think
sometimes I choose not to wish
sometimes I would like to choose not to fight
sometimes I would like to believe in god
sometimes I think that the world works well thus
and then I think that I am just one solitary madman
and then I think that I am the only one that wants to change the world
then I believe that for the rest of the humanity everything is fine
sometimes I also would like to think just as they
sometimes I would want to believe in god
sometimes I also would like to believe to the TV
sometimes I would like to believe Fukuyama and to Huntington
sometimes I also wanted to believe Bush, Berlusconi, Sarkozy, Blair, Uribe, Calderón
sometimes I would like to embrace a corpse
sometimes I would like to stop thinking that the man is the biggest error of the nature
but if the nature was wrong, then: is god exempt from fault?
and then if god exists: who committed this big error?
sometimes I would like to stop thinking
and the fact is that thinking is the most dangerous activity of all
