Even if you're renting a film you can usually purchase snacks there as well. Not as expensive as theater food and you just have to make one stop - for your movie and snacks!
Afternoon snack. I warmed corn tortillas in the oven until they were crispy like chips with guacamole (which is just mashed avocado, lemon and a little sea salt), pico de gallo, and corn salsa.
Cheon, sometimes spelled jeon, are lovely little fried snacks that you can get from street sellers, and at the markets. Taejeon has a large market downtown, comprised of many buildings with all now have roofed in streets, so it feels kind of like a giant mall (covering several blocks), but not sujected to an overall design. Top right: zuccini jeon; on the far left, fish jeon; and centre right, teeny tiny hamburger jeon. The rest, I'm not sure about, but we got a mixed package and they were all good.
