This is the last Canada Goose we have hanging around ~ probably due to his lame foot. I thought I'd give him some birdseed in a bowl, and of course the last of the ducks came to join him!

Yesterday's card really was from my Deli swap parcel from Jane (Thanks!).

It's brink full of cool American snacks. And even though the U.S. mainly make the press for things like obesity and burgers these days, it's easily forgotten that on the bright side this means they have a much more widely varied snack culture as well! Loads of great choices in there that I hadn't even seen before.

I'll take more photos of the various items as I go through them – and I'll try not to munch my way through in one go...

My new year's resolution is to get the kids out into the great outdoors. I bought them these little backpacks to they can carry their own drinks and snacks when we go bush walking. Now that Samantha is 2 1/2 she can manage a reasonably long walk with a little help. Kayleigh is a good walker and the outdoors agrees with her. She is a nature girl at heart I think!
