This chipmunk had a pretty nice setup at the top of observation point in Zion National Park, Utah. As hikers stopped to enjoy the view, it would run around where they sat looking for food scraps. While you should not feed the animals, occasionally someone unknowingly drops a scrap and the chipmunks play clean up. This particular chipmunk did just that as someone near us dropped part of their snack.

While I was waiting for some bats to show up. This female Ruby-throated Hummingbird showed up for something to hold it overnight. It was 6:45 p.m. and getting dark. Tough getting focus but managed for a few pics and the flash brings out her beautiful colors. My backyard. Central Bucks, PA.
Summer time even butterflies like to have a snack. Warm outside and no rain today. Just right for “”Snack Time” in our garden. I had a cold drink and watched as several butterflies enjoyed themselves. Thanks for viewing my photos.
