Slow Cooker Pork Loin and Apples | Spoonful - spoonful.com/recipes/slow-cooker-pork-loin-and-apples
Today a delicious blend of beef and several vegetables simmered whilst we were at church, and was ready for a delightful Sunday dinner when we returned..
You can call it cajeta or dulce de leche or arequipe. To me, this is simply caramel heaven in a jar.
Cajeta made entirely from scratch by reducing organic goat milk, sugar, cinnamon, salt, baking soda from 2L to 600mL. I had a head start using slow cooker to handle much of the reduction (hands off) before finishing off the last hour of cooking on the stove to achieve thick caramel perfection.

Debbie Koenig's slow-cooked barbecued brisket (via Luisa Weiss, The Wednesday chef) & super fast black beans from the pressure cooker (first time for me) - fabulous starts here: thejameskitchen.wordpress.com/2013/12/12/quick-quick-slow...
Just the beans = a super vegetarian supper.
My first batch of beef stew made via slow cooker. I was baffled by how much water the vegetables produce. You don't add that much to begin with, but so much just APPEARS the next morning!
I used this recipe: allrecipes.com/Recipe/Slow-Cooker-Beef-Stew-IV/Detail.aspx with a few variations. Next time I'll use less beef.
Dill pickle ranch-flavoured Chex mix/bits & bites?! It can be done! Now that summer is here you can even make it in the crockpot which made it perfectly: www.suziethefoodie.com/dill-pickle-crockpot-bits-bites/
nice and tender osso bucco. I should have picked the a nice piece marbled with gelatinous tendon for the photo
It's starting to cool a bit and time to bring out the crockpot. This is an original dish for two.

Made in the slow cooker and came out really tasty. They came out fall off the bone tender. I'll be making these again soon.
Here is the recipe if you're interested:
www.taste.com.au/recipes/13647/beef+guinness+pie. I cooked the meat in the slow cooker then finished the pies off in the oven topped with pastry.
Well, I'm attached enough to my crockpot that I went out and bought my first slow cooker cookbook today!
Just empty and add liquid! I made this before. Only this time I'm packing it so the whole dish will be ready to cook track-side at Montreal's F1 race track!
The end is near for my day of cooking.

Extremely flavorful...full of spices, dried fruits, chicken, garbanzo beans, carrots, onions and broth. A nice thick stew.
