Wonderful weather and enjoyable weekend sailing to an unknown island
An exquisite little island located at southwest of Malaysia, Tioman Island.
It takes about two hours to reach this island from Mersing, Malaysia by speedboat.
Numbers of resorts surrounding the island are offering their best cottage for sunrise or sunsets view facing South China Sea.
Not forget to mention that many divers and snorkels come to this island.
The aquatic sea is the perfect place to explore the underwater world.
Surprisingly, it has beautiful sky-scape too!
Hundreds of stars aligned attractively give us a great atmosphere gazing at it.
Overall Tioman Island is a wonderful place for short getaway.
It offers nice beach with beautiful sunset, perfect weather, perfect place for snorkelling, diving and star gazing. The local seafood is pleasantly delicious as well.
Enjoy the pictures!

It is often well worth staying a little longer, not just the sun going down but the afterglow.
The clouds can be very artistic and paint the way so that if you were to put it on canvas with oils, brush or palette-knife.
People would say, oh no, impossible, not on! LOL
Have a wonderful day, filled with love and beauty, M, (*_*)

Taken on the same afternoon as my recently posted images of Edge Hill views. The escarpment is less than a mile away from the house and easily accessible by a footpath across the fields from the NT carpark at the entrance to the house.
Wonderful clouds that seem more weighty and substantial than the house itself. It may look like an over-enthusiastic 'sky replacement' job but it's the real deal. The sky-scapes that afternoon were a gift!
This is a composite of two images and a lot of hard work on the PC. The Tundra swan was taken on my Canon 50D and the City Scape of Hamilton Ontario on my old Canon Powershot A85 Point and shoot. I saw an article in a photo magazine about creating multiple exposures in PS. This was a lot of fun and brought the results of shots from two different cameras taken at different times together.
I do this type of stuff to improve my editing skills and just for the sheer heck of it.

When the clock on the tower above Victoria Concert Hall (Singapore) struck half past nine (see photo's clock timing though slightly after), HURRAY.... the total lunar eclipse occurred just directly above it. I couldn't have asked for a better foreground. A timely view indeed. Definitely a meaningful capture to record this phenomena.
This is pretty much what the sky looks like right now after a fairly stormy day. The building is our barn, and I see I forgot to add the edge of the cupola which would have made it a bit more barn like!

My last few keepers of this intensely dramatic and colorful sky-scape just a few days before Christmas... It was quite a nice present... Thanks so much for looking ~ Sunset afterglow ~ Florida Everglades U.S.A.

The Snow Moon! I stood outside with camera on tripod in the dark trying to get the perfect photo. It was cold and windy and extremely dark. Had to use my phone as a flashlight to see the screen on the camera. So, out of all the photos I took this is the one I like best. Just couldn't decide between SOOC or photo shopped B&W. Any opinions out there, are welcome.
Let's jump and take that!!

The heart of Cygnus is a region rich in H-alpha and details, the image is a night-sky scape of that region and the Crescent Nebula can be seen in the upper central part to the right of the image My first time using the Redcat 51 and a Nikon Z6II. I am in love with both, Redcat for stellar optics and Z6II for quality and ease! Moon had risen during the last 3 hours of session in 'waning crescent' phase but exposures just got a bit brighter but stack was great in the end. I had preferred to start with a ISO 1600 not 3200 so that it doesn't get over exposed after moon rise! Image was taken on the 2nd of July, Deep Sky Stacker, Starnet ++ and Photoshop 2021 were used in stacking, processing and editing the image.

ActionCamPro.com I've been playing around with my Sony HDR AS100V ActionCam quite a bit lately. I was bitten by the GoPro bug a while back, and while on one of my many visits to BestBuy noticed the Sony in the "returned section" and figured I would give it a go for the $200 bucks.
Even though it is more of a video cam, I find myself using it more as a camera.
I would still like to get the new GoPro 4, but for now I will stick with the Sony.
