I really liked the way the diffused sunlight lit up the snowbanks and frozen creek. Winter can really be a beautiful time of year...

The photo was taken on my recent trip to Rome, italy
it's one of the ten engel sculptures on the Sant'Angelo bridge.
Another image from Brown County Ohio, taken while I was driving my way toward the town of Mt Orab. I've mentioned it before; this section of Ohio's rural landscape is a favorite of mine; it produces wonderful sky-scapes and cloud formations pretty much every time I pass through the area. Must be some kind of, "geographical oddity."

Finally spring is winning over the long days of winter in Northern Ontario. Fresh green leaves are livening up the countryside with the promise of new life.
Thank you for all of your comments. Positive and constructive criticisms are very much welcomed and appreciated.
I saw this very unusual and dramatic cloud formation the other day and shot it thinking it would be a great backdrop for a composite. So I added a shot of a pair of Tundra swans that I took a few years ago to it for perspective and added interest
I guess I should finish up this amazing South Florida
Everglades sunset from last month that was one of the
best sunsets of the year IMHO, with incredibly changing
light and colors from minute to minute. I really enjoyed it
and I do love sharing it with you. Thank you for looking.

Cornish, Maine.
A cloud view panorama from Hessian Hill in Cornish this afternoon on this summer solstice day.

It is often well worth staying a little longer, not just the sun going down but the afterglow.
The clouds can be very artistic and paint the way so that if you were to put it on canvas with oils, brush or palette-knife.
People would say, oh no, impossible, not on! LOL
Have a wonderful day, filled with love and beauty, M, (*_*)

On the ferry to England, from DUNKIRK, Northern France .
There is also an industrial harbour
On upper deck, leaving port, got a colourful good-bye.
We live at the end of the rainbow, LOL.
And more...
A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky.
It takes the form of a multicoloured circular arc.
Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the Sun.
THANK you, M, (*_*)

Panorama view of the sunset today from Highland Farms in Cornish.
It was another very hot and humid day here, I got brave and ventured out of the house about 7:30 to catch the sunset.

Poem.
Glen Shiel.
Loch Duich.
West-coast sea-loch.
Shiel Bridge village.
Sweeping, shapely, undulating
summit-ridge of the
“Five Sisters of Kintail.”
Coniferous forest.
Sun-dappled mountain slopes
in green and blue.
Dark cloud shadows
scud across an ever-changing
sky-scape, as in a time-lapse video.
A dynamic, colourful, vibrant scene that transforms
season by season,
but always impresses.
