Middlebury finished tied for third overall at the 89th Annual Middlebury College winter carnival. Nordic events were moved to the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe after a lack of snow at the Rikert Ski Touring Center.

I had a great day out on my cross-country skis yesterday leaving home at 9.30am I made my way to, Stockton on to the Tees Barage then crossed the river at the Newport Bridge returning on the opposite bank. A lady stopped to photograph me here just over the Jubilee Bridge on Queen Elizabeth Way, Ingleby Barwick, so I asked her to take one of me on my camera. Big smile for a lot of fun.

The Estonian Embassy in Turkey organised a spirited cross-country skiing festival in Turkey’s Bolu Province on Sunday, 7 February.
The snow and sun brought together around a thousand skiing fans from all over Turkey, as well as foreign diplomats from Ankara and Istanbul. The guests of honour skiing the course were Secretary General of the Estonian Foreign Ministry Marten Kokk and Secretary General of the Finnish Foreign Ministry Pertti Torstila.
The skiing was followed by an open-air reception dedicated to the 92nd anniversary of the Republic of Estonia.
I like skiing. I'm quite good at it, but if the ski slope is too precipitous, I'll never go down! Some bone can break! (IDK if it's right)
After the ski lessons last year didn't result in any fun for Sophia, this year I just practiced with her for an hour each day myself. I'm not a ski instructor, but this way, there was less pressure and more fun. Sophia still got to take some proper lessons the week after this trip.
