Where else in the world can you ski in the desert, 5 minutes from the beach? Ski Dubai is the largest indoor ski resort in the world. You can't see in this photo, but the ski slope is twice the height of this image. The slope continues to the top left of this photo.

Photographed with a Rolleiflex Automat K4B MX 6x6 TLR with a Schneider-Kreuznach-Xenar 75mm f3.5 lens. The film is Ilford Pan F Plus 50 developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 12 minutes.

It's the most famous Ski Aria in there.
It have some good ski runs.
A lot of professional skiers come there every year.
Unfortunatury, I have never ski in there (>_<).

I'm back from my first ever Skiing holiday and all I can say is why didn't I ever go in the past! The resort in Bulgaria was really pretty which made it hard for me to concentrate on Skiing when I really wanted to be out taking photos!
I only had my compact camera with me taking JPGS so unfortunately I couldn't do anything about the blown out sky on this shot...
"Frostbite 45". Photos of the start and at Check point 1 of the 45 km lng skin and showshoe race. The temperature at the start of the race was -33C.

Ski clothes have changed a lot over the last few decades, going from "warm, tough, bulky, heavy" to light high fashion items with little resemblance to the original concept.
The development of new waterproof, breathable light fabrics have facilitated the charge to look "smart on the slopes".
