Fondly referred to as the "ski-jumper" by some, this is a pose that many Japanese actually adopt in order to relax. For me, I am physically incapable of it. I just keep falling backwards! This is why I try to avoid using Japanese-style toilets.
Got off to a stonking start in 2015 by driving 30 minutes from our house into the local mountains here in Orange County.
What made things remarkable/stonking is that we had a FOOT of snow to play in! A large cold front blew in the day before and deposited a lot of snow in the nearby mountains. Very, very, very rare that this happens.
My boys even brought their skis and played around in them a bit, just so they could say that they've SNOW SKIIED IN ORANGE COUNTY!

Where else in the world can you ski in the desert, 5 minutes from the beach? Ski Dubai is the largest indoor ski resort in the world. You can't see in this photo, but the ski slope is twice the height of this image. The slope continues to the top left of this photo.

Designer Willem Heeffer created the new interior for Elamysmatkat, a Helsinki based travel agency for which he designed this custom light feature.
With the help of Elamysmatkat's many Facebook friends who donated their old ski’s, Willem created the ski-chandelier. This colourful up-cycled lamp serves as a great interior decoration for the office and it immediately shows what they are all about: fun, daring and winter sports!

Photographed with a Rolleiflex Automat K4B MX 6x6 TLR with a Schneider-Kreuznach-Xenar 75mm f3.5 lens. The film is Ilford Pan F Plus 50 developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 12 minutes.

It have some good ski runs.
A lot of professional skiers come there every year.
Unfortunatury, I have never ski in there (>_<).
