' what we do is secret ' is a dub-centric happy hour held every Wednesday night from 6:30pm to 11pm in the Upstairs lounge above Skewers and Café Luna restaurants at 1633 P St NW (at the corner of 17th & P St).

Brought to you by retrospect. Supported by Boring Kitchen Sound System. The WWDIS soundsystem is one that is rooted in dub reggae and electronic works, but also focuses on a variety of music from downtempo to dance, punk to post-punk (among other deviations). Flanked by local and nationally-respected guest DJs weekly is resident selector retrospect.

A short walk away from both the U St-Cardozo and the Dupont Circle Metro stations, WWDIS offers $2 bottles of Sam Adams, Blue Moon, Yuengling, Miller Lite, $3 Martinis and $3 Shots until 8PM (with beer prices going up by $1 after that). There's also a special $2 tapas menu from Skewers all night long --- on top of their full menu (including extensive vegetarian options).

Following in the past spirit of Beyond, we aim to provide a freeform platform that provides sounds for rudeboys, sound warriors and laymen alike...roughened selections. goodness. arrive. drink. be merry...
