The best skewers in Les Avirons

Dear customers

We decided to release foods that can be eaten in general Japanese Pub.

We will release Deep fried skewers, Japanese fried chicken, and French fries at Tokyo Zero.

And you can get other foods right away.

Because we will release Series 2 at another event this month.

Don't miss it!

Available on January 10 @ Tokyo Zero

There is nothing like the glorious smell of great food waiting for the hungry stomachs. Those sure look very appetizing...

Belted Kingfisher serves up a fine catch.

These always taste great and the first thing I order when I go to Yebisu.

For Macro Mondays "First Letter of My Surname" - S is for Skewers.

I've been on a massive home reorganization and cleaning project, and came across about 100 bamboo skewers for meat kabobs in the back of a drawer. They reminded me of the child's game "pick-up-sticks", which in turn led to this image. Some of them look pretty grody - obviously we're eating a bit of wood when we cook with these!

Detail enhanced with Topaz filters and border created from another wood image of mine. Width of image is about 2 inches.

On the weekend after I got my Pentacon 50mm f/1.8, I took some pictures of frosted berries on our neighbors hedge. I quite like this shot even though it doesn't have the most beautiful bokeh, but it looks to me like the berries are skewered on a stick and held over a fire :) I hope you like it!

Steam rising into the cold, November air from a food stall at the festive market.

I'm not really happy with this shot quality but it was a lucky catch...for both of us!
