Two state-of-the-art simulation stations, used for early design of automotive projects. The attached high-performance computers make real-time physics calculations and accurately simulate the view, handling, and mechanical systems of a virtual automobile, which is used for initial prototyping of Formula SAE entrant designs.
(Yes, they're also for fun.)

The IU Kokomo School of Nursing and School of Education, in conjunction with Second Harvest, hosted a poverty simulation in which students try to live for in poverty for one month, condensed into an hour for the simulation. Various scenarios are assigned ranging from a single parent of 5 kids to a single person with no job and no home.

The simulation suite in the nursing building at Auburn University became critically important when the College of Nursing pivoted to remote instruction and as clinical sites have been increasingly limited.
SpaceEngine - A free space simulation program that lets you explore the universe in three dimensions, from planet Earth to the most distant galaxies. Areas of the known universe are represented using actual astronomical data, while regions uncharted by astronomy are generated procedurally. Millions of galaxies, trillions of stars, countless planets - all available for exploration. You can land any planet, moon or asteroid and watch alien landscapes and celestial phenomena. You can even pilot starships and atmospheric shuttles.

Andres Marti taught high school mathematics and computer programming for 13 years, using technologies like Sketchpad, Logo, and other early innovative educational programs as well as programming languages such as C++. He has since been a mathematics editor, lead developer of online professional development, and product manager at Key Curriculum, now part of McGraw-Hill Education. He has extensive experience developing videos, tutorials, webinars, online courses, and activities for dynamic mathematics and data software. Having used Sketchpad for many years as a teacher, he appreciates the transformative impact on learning and motivation these interactive, unscripted, virtual construction environments provide students and teachers.

Projects Day is the annual showcase of their intellectual pursuits and for 20 engineering psychology—or E-Psych—majors, it is an exploration of human capabilities on a digital battlefield.
This includes everything from knowing what buttons to press on a keyboard, at what moment and for how long. If a platoon leader requires Soldiers to conduct simulation training, they also need to know how long it will take to load up the software and what instructions they need to relay to the troops before the training begins.
It’s all about understanding the nuances of the human dimension as it applies to military gaming.
Using the Virtual Battle Space II software, two cadet teams designed and storyboarded training scenarios to include missions like cordon and search and convoy operations. The E-Psych majors used these simulations to develop a better understanding of human responses and limitations.
