some days ago i watched silent hill revelation on tv.. wtf ..this shit had nothing to do with the game, like my pic.

Taken from the summit of Doan in the Mourne Mountains, this is the quaintly named Silent Valley Reservoir. I walked a circuit from there - see my previous two posts if you're interested! The low clouds were drifting around, making the place feel higher than it is.
I had my lunch where the chap is standing but he arrived with his family and I left them to it, finding another angle. Thankfully he stood admiring the view long enough for me to snap him to help the photo out.

Christmas night in a dying rural Irish town. Meagre Christmas decorations, an abandoned pub and bank; only the street lights and the bookie's shopfront illuminate the scene. (You know I'd go dark soon enough, didn't you?) All we need is Marley's ghost, and we could go full Dickens.)
Winston Churchill said, "When the eagles are silent, the parrots begin to jabber". Churchill was saying when leaders, those in power (the eagle) are quiet, the masses, the ordinary folk (parrots) start talking.
Sorry Winnie, I'm ordinary but I'm not sure I would jabber in front of, or within earshot of this magnificent and dignified specimen.
The photo is not that sharp a capture of this nobel bird of prey but I like it all the same. There is something stately, something majestic about this bird's look, his glance which makes one, at least me, look twice.
