Another Infrared HDR I put together for the holiday spirit. This shot was taken at the same location as the last, with the same treatment as the last. All added elements, stars and day to night effect was added with just the use of photoshop and no other added textures or stocks.
This post will probably be my last for a little while (or at least till the next week). So I want to wish those of you who celebrate Christmas a merry one, and those of you who do not Happy holidays. May this time with your family be a special one.

Silently watching my sweet silent buoy
over golden stitched ripples of riparian waves
though unnatural colours
Blend in with hushed charm
your bangles of safety
adorn reaching arms
through tree lined embankments
and boatbuilders cries
your bright orange cloak
rarely catches our eyes
so thank you for standing out cold

and waiting there patiently

Here's one from a magical Ponderosa grove in the Deschutes National Forest outside Sisters, OR, seen under heavy snowfall and waning twilight light. I used (or was forced to use) a long exposure, rendering the snowfall more like fog.
A fog layer earlier in the day and week, along with cold temperatures, deposited a layer of frost on just about everything except the Ponderosa trunks. That, combined with the fresh and falling snow, covered everything in white which picked up the twilight blues in an eery way. Winter forests under fresh snow fall always amaze me in how silent they are, such a magical experience!

Is it better to be silent, so others don’t feel uncomfortable? This is what our government and corporations want us to believe. They feel so strongly about it; they will intimidate, isolate, discredit, stalk, surveil and incarcerate those that threaten to expose the truth.
I choose not to be silent and this makes many around me uncomfortable. Many, because they see the truth, but choose to look the other way. Others, because they know what they do is immoral and others because they enjoy it. These cowards hide behind freedom. The freedom bestowed to us by the brave; that choose to stand in front of and defend it. Sadly here in Yosemite; I walk, work and live among such cowards. These cowards hide behind Gang Stalking, Community Stalking and Workplace Mobbing.
There I go again, making others feel uncomfortable.

Someone told me that at Elgol, in Scotland, if you close your eyes you can really feel the sound of silence.
