I took more photos on my phone, than with a real camera. How very unlike me! The hipstamatic settings just seemed to lap up the rustic, crumbling, flaky loveliness of Triora - a small town high in the Maritime Alps of Italy.
Accidental shot while I was trying out a newly acquired wireless flash trigger. I really have no idea what I was doing. I'm just curious about off-camera flash photography. Wish me luck. :)
Okay, I've made it look a bit angrier than it actually was, but if painters can have 'license' so can we shutter bugs!
It seems the most popular pass-time at the Steampunk Worlds fair was photography.
How many times were we stopped so people could take out picture? Every 3rd or 4th time we were photographed I took a photo of the photographer - I'm guessing we had our picture taken well over 100 times.

Communication on Christmas Day!
Midwest snow storms were a worry since family had driven in from four different towns, up to 200 miles away.
Came across this lively little lady and her Grandfather at an indoor soccer match last night. Never ceases to amaze me the shots I get that were never intended. Her expressions were quite contagious!
We like to drink together and listen to music. He also went to Lincoln but we didn't know each other back then. He's had a rough life, as have I. It's good to commiserate.
