She loves to take pictures as much as I do. Her little camera goes everywhere with her and she knows how to work it. She poses stuff and comes up with creative shots all on her own. I positively adore her.

Since I'm such a shutterbug I often post my last picture taken in the old year, and my first picture of the new year. Here is the very first picture I took in 2021. My wife and I are staying at my mother in law's for the holidays and this plant hangs in her kitchen window.
the 7yrold is always encouraging me to buy more gear. I'm always like "honey, I really have enough photography equipment." but then she's like "you have to have the newest stuff or why bother." so what am i supposed to do, i don't want to be a shabby parent.
the plus one shot is the 7yrold in about the same spot a while ago.

learnt recently that 快门 is shutter in chinese. thought it sounded a little odd perhaps 'cos i'm hearing the term for the 1st time but it does make sense since it literally means "fast door".
快门 could also abbreviate 快乐之门 (door to happiness) especially so for the shutterbugs. :)

This absolutely tiny bottle green insect was a little shutterbug, landing on my thumb while I was shooting some oxeye daisies that caught my eye while walking home 📷
