I am quite proud to say that my photo is on the cover of this month's Shutterbug magazine (and on page 13).

Hanging with the fam. Me and Darcy grabbing some pics of Micah's birthday & slumber party. Here, my youngest sneaks in for a little snuggling in between his brother's presents.

If you look closely, you can spot a suspicious mother watching me take the picture.

This watch I made on commission for someone in England. It came out just right.

I build these watches from scratch, the only thing not made by me are the movements because you just can't beat Swiss and Japanese precision. XD

Critique welcome, please and thank you :)

One of the official group photos of our very first excursion. We were part of a Washington, DC, area Meetup group called Shutterbug Excursions. (shameless plug) :-)

During a trip to Utah, I introduced my son Colin to digital photography. Yes, he is becoming addicted to it, too, just like the rest of us. Ha! I tell him this addiction is as powerful as cocaine, but a heck of a lot more fun -- and of course it has the advantage of being legal, too.

I introduced him to the noble sport of sunset-hunting, and we found a nice vantage point on the foothills just east of Centerville, which is about 10 miles (16km) north of Salt Lake City. I took three pictures of him experimenting with his mother's camera, and decided this one, taken from an angle, and with Colin sitting between two trees, was the best of them.

Colin is a gifted musician, and has a strong artistic bent. Moreover, he appears to have a natural aptitude for photography, and I suspect you will soon be seeing some of his work right here on Flickr.

It's impossible to take someone photographing with you and not have them shoot this wall.
