Flickr friends from Bangalore and Chennai got together for photography trip to Somnathpur, Karnataka, India.
We had lot of fun. Originally planned to return in the after-noon. We never thought about return till the sun went down.

I'm so excited both my boys are enjoying taking pictures. Here he's using my 16-year old Kodak DC210. This thing is so old I can't connect it to a single computer in my house. I'm anxiously awaiting a multi-card reader from Amazon. I can't wait to see The Bear's pics.

This little camera is a treasure for me because my grandmother took a lot of pictures with it, but it doesn't work anymore. It looks pretty, but it no longer serves it's original purpose. It makes a fabulous photo prop, though!

I attended a dinner tonight at the Fire Hall. The glassware and candles looked so nice...
The red Gladiolus hybridus flowers in rule of thirds composition symbolize passionate strength. Positioned on the right, they represent forward movement and determination. A reminder to pursue one's goals with fiery resolve.
Three cameras in one family grouping is impressive. This fellow is not identified but he poses before the same backdrop as Florence.
