I draw diagrams like this in may day job, so I was considerably impressed that a shellfish could draw them too (no Photoshop tricks here). The theory is that the pattern on the shell was made according to the rules of a cellular automaton.

這是我在象山第一次看到的seafood號特別的海鮮,叫“佛手”還真像植物的佛手,生長在礁石上的一種貝殼類生物,要剝開外殻吃,味道鮮美。

Kaohsiung Japanese restaurant (東京酒埸-愛河店) - my father's go to restaurant in Koahsiung. This is a small street corner restaurant that serves no-nonsense Japanese and Taiwanese street food.

The raw bar with peel and eat gulf shrimp ($12/6 or $22/dozen), Atlantic snow crab ($10/cluster), Nova Scotia lobster tail ($12/5oz), and two daily choices of oysters – on our visit, Colville Bay (PEI) and Mallet (New Brunswick) – from Rodney’s ($2.25/ea). Two seafood towers are available: “Crows Nest” ($39) and “The Boss” ($99), which is indeed named after Bruce Springsteen. On opening night, a table of two ordered two of the latter!

One of my favorite decadent romantic meals to cook, a Giada creation that we've blogged about at The Taste Place. Who doesn't love shrimp? This dish is sure to impress, yet it's ridiculously easy.

I don't speak Vietnamese, but I asked Wandering Chopsticks about this dish :D

Bun (noodle) Tom Nuong (grilled shrimp) Cha Ram (shrimp egg rolls). Thanks for the recipe!

In my fridge, I usually keep fresh cilantro but I guessed I didn't have it :). Plus,I forgot to buy rau ram (Vietnamese coriander).

Compare to Indonesian Lumpia, Cha Ram is just very simple to make; yet it tastes good.

Off the beaten path just north of New Smyrna Beach is a spot where tiny crabs come out to play and you can watch an osprey with its catch fly by, or hear a fish jump out of the water. In the distance, is the top of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. It's a hidden treasure, so no wonder this little guy is protecting his home so fiercely!
