Go...adventure!

The clouds were amazing last night as a front worked its way through the area.

This beautiful view is on California's central coast near Pismo Beach just off of the famous highway 1. One of the greatest drives in the USA. Stay over if you visit and walk and hike on the beach and visit amazing state parks nearby like Morro Bay, Montana de Oro and see the butterfly migration in winter months. California is overcrowded for good reason but areas in the middle and northern parts of the state still have a great pristine feeling. Blessings.

I've never asked to take someone's picture before....but get real this was ridiculous.

My queue from the weekend is large but I just took this 30 minutes ago at the end of my block and had to bump it in line!

I was having a cocktail with my friend who just moved to town and saw a fire dancer out the corner of my eye. I stopped everything and asked if he'd be down to move towards the water. Worth it.

Just before sunset, a very light mist seemed to envelope the Central Coast, bringing with it a strong scent of the sea.

This is on the Highway 101 frontage road in Shell Beach. Shell Beach is a part of the City of Pismo Beach in southern San Luis Obispo County.

Shell Beach is the closest stretch of sand to downtown Gustavia on St. Barthélemy, Eastern Caribbean.

Pulled off the freeway to capture this at Foothill and Mattie Roads. Brief burst of color lasted just a few minutes.

The winter low tides, that is......this was taken two days ago in Shell Beach at a minus 0.5 tide in several inches of water.

I spent a few days working up in San Luis Obispo, so I had a few opportunities to shoot some of the beautiful coast up that way. This is from Spyglass Park in Shell Beach.

This is a shot from Dinosaur Cave Park across the water to Point Sal which is around twenty miles as the crow flies. Not often is it this clear on the central coast of California.
