At the O2 last night as part of The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band Knees Up - The Shellac Collective DJ entirely with 78's. Some great tunes.

Picked up a set of Miesha's Portuguese Tree Cork Grips from Rivendell. www.rivbike.com/product-p/gt5.htm
I put two layers of shellac on per Schmitty's instructions. Since the grips are on the short side, I put some cloth tape between brake levers and grips and shellacked 'em too. (Would have twined it to keep it up to Rivendell standards, but couldn't find my twine.) And glued the grips to bars with Gorilla Glue. I used a bit too much, as it was my first time using this glue, so you can see where it seeped out, especially through a crack on the left grip. (The crack due to my stupidity, of course.) They look nice, eh?

I decided to got nuts with a lot of unfamiliar paint colors. This was done during a Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch workshop. It is 6" by 6".
These old 78rpm discs have some heft to them. There is only one song per side, about 4 minutes long.
