I took this shot out of curiosity. Is the demand for this product really that high? I know some of us tend to make the wrong business decision by putting up stores beside the ones that share the same product line but huge establishments such as these surprises me.
I was trying to get a close up shot of the swivel elevator but missed it. But he did have a nice sized roll bar, running horizontally here, to keep the trucks from backing into the sheller.
This is a shell water fountain that is on the grounds at Spanish Point. This was put together by the family that lived there.

With this, I tried to make the shell look like it was deep within a forest of ferns and leaves. The result, I think, shows the shell breaking through a clearing of leaves, where it was previously hiding.

Over the last year I have collected shells from a shore line here in Adelaide. I got to the beach to remember my mother. When I began this collection, I realised I wanted to display them rather than put in a box. My idea of having some box frames eventually developed in these final products.
