Shells - shells are so elegant. I also have a lovely piece of upholstery fabric that I'm using as color inspiration.
A lovely soft tinkly-clattery sound from this shell chime on the veranda of a Pawleys Island shop.
It wouldn't hold up in the winds here! ;-)
When i get the chance i go to the West coast of Scotland to a small place called Port Ban, which is just south of Oban. This picture was taken in a small fishing village called Tarbert. I took it on a beach, which has been given the nick name Shell Beach, the intire beach is covered in large shells. They all get washed ashore and it looks like this.

Thanks to Max for letting me borrow his camera.
I recently did a pattern test for Nikki's (Nicole Mallalieu Design) new Shell Purse. A cute, versatile design which was very straightforward to make - thanks to Nikki's step-by-step, easy to follow instructions that also have some great tips that you can use on other sewing projects.
Another sunset shot from Shell point new years eve.
