What's all of the commotion in the Tadpole nebula? Star formation. Dusty emission in the Tadpole nebula, IC 410, lies about 12,000 light-years away in the northern constellation of the Charioteer (Auriga). The cloud of glowing gas is over 100 light-years across, sculpted by stellar winds and radiation from embedded open star cluster NGC 1893. Formed in the interstellar cloud a mere 4 million years ago, bright newly formed cluster stars are seen all around the star-forming nebula. Notable near the image center are two relatively dense streamers of material trailing away from the nebula's central regions. Potentially sites of ongoing star formation in IC 410, these cosmic tadpole shapes are about 10 light-years long. Different shapes using a total of four leaflets
I only change the weaving pattern to get the different shapes.
I really loved this light that was coming through the windows and hitting the kitchen cabinets this morning.
I feel like I don't have any initiative to take pictures anymore - it's killing me. I need to just start going outside and walking around with my camera. Some sort of inspiration!
Ps. There is talk in my household about getting a new camera (DSLR)!
And I really do need one... super badly. I already use a Canon so I was thinking of just getting another one... but then my neighbor thinks i should get a Nikon D40 or something. Does anyone use a Canon EOS Rebel xti? Those look pretty nice... I just don't know! Any suggestions?
My greeting cards have been selling quite well so I have had to place an order for a print run of another 1,000. They arrived today and as ever they are excellently packaged in hundreds of green polystyrene shapes. They arrived in perfect condition but I do feel bad about throwing these away as unfortunately they are not biodegradable. I have seen similar packaging made out of corn starch. Those ones are great as they simply dissolve in water and can be rinsed down the sink.

A somewhat improvised, pre planned copy of another photographer. He is famous and rich, so I don't feel so bad copying him. I aspire to reach his level at some point in my life, even if it takes me another 40 years. Gabriella was so patient with this shot. I took about 80 and for each one she had to hold the shapes up.

This is my picture for shape. The subject of the picture is my sister's dog laying down and ready for a good nights slumber. I chose this photo for shape because the anatomy of a canine is not similar to that of a humans or a bird. The shape of the snout following up to the cranium allows the viewers to move their eye around the picture towards the subject's eye. In photoshop I used a warming filter but neutralized it by using color balance by adding more to the reds, greens, and blues. I also altered the vibrance of the subject's face. If I could change anything about this photo it would be to remove the canine's collar because it has a neon green color, and that can be pretty distracting. Lastly, I would want to remove the painting in the background because it is just so irrelevant to the situation that is present.
The red lines are almost a representation of a broken line of fate, the red string shared by two people. Idk it made sense in my head.
