Small containers ready to fill in an orderly manner. (This is not my style, except when filing RAW photos.)
Inspired by Flickr Friday for #ABitOfOrder this week. If you'd like to see a different focal point or horizontal layout, and feel irritated by my preference for shallow dof, ask and you might receive. My husband and I don't see eye to eye on photography. But he's good at landscape photography, using f/8 and smaller apertures ;)
Now to fill these containers in an orderly manner. (Tidy is not my middle name; how did Flickr Friday know?)
Thanks for your faves, comments, and just for looking. If you borrow this, please link back to this page ;)

This is Churchill, our latest adopted oldie. He is a 13 year old golden retriever. He has quite a few issues, some we weren't expecting but he's here now and here is a warts and all photo after a visit to the vet. He had to have dye in his eye to check for ulceration. Luckily there wasn't any. He does have very badly infected ears and a massive hotspot on his chest. He had to have a huge area of fur shaved off. He didn't want that bit in the photo. He also has very bad arthritis. Hopefully it won't take too long for us to get him in better condition.
My wonderful wife enjoys here an beautiful winter morning with crepuscular rays. Can´t get enough of such scenes.

Thank you all so much for your comments & faves.
I tried looking up some new groups the other day. Yu know to join on Flickr. This site is so screwed up. I can hardly figure anything out on here anymore. I cannot be this dumb. It should not be this difficult.

I have been outdoors with the very old russian prime lens Tair 11A. My lens must be from the very early Production back in 1965 because of its unique Serial Number ! This thing is over 50 Years old and still works like a charm. Build like an russian tank - build for the eternity :)

This one was mistakenly put in a box with old invalid coins. As you can see it quickly started to look like the other coins in the box. I had to partially clean it so that you could clearly see in the photo which coin it was.
HMM!
The finale of the season for these Broom pods is to release their seeds. When done, that's it. Season’s over.

"If we had a keen vision of all that is ordinary in human life, it would be like hearing the grass grow or the squirrel's heart beat, and we should die of that roar which is the other side of silence."

Just looking for some "ordinary" in-between eye surgeries. Thank you all so very much for your kind words and well-wishes !! Over time, I hope to catch-up with everyone.

October 2023: A month in 31 pictures
I took a little munchkin pumpkin with me to Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk, where I saw this rotting tree. I thought it might be the perfect place to pop this little munchkin for a photo.

Daisy
And then winter decided to rear its head, if only for a day. With the wind coming from the north this weekend, cold Scandinavian air is freezing things here in the Netherlands.
Instead of going for the big landscapes, I focused – quite literally – on the small things. This daisy had her head turned in just the right direction, with the last morning colours in the background.
My knees were wet and cold after taking this shot, but it was worth it.
First off, apologize for the quality. None of the dragonflies is really sharp. That´s because I simply had no time. I had to shot urgently and until they were gone. You have to know that i shoot most of my pictures with 2 or 3 of my dogs surrounding me. So it was a matter of time until one of them recognizes what I am aiming for. The disquieting around me begins and most of the animals (especially) dragonflies will fly away :)
But I guess better then no pic of them :)
