Shadow Box picture frame to frame a paper cut out art from China. The frame is made out of Texas Pecan left over from another job and I've spaced the artwork out from the white background to capture the Shadows.

Puppets Shadow
The puppet
Strings dangle down
as she moves around
her movements broken
as her head hangs down
Her master makes her sway
about through the play
but her spirit sit dully inside.
Her pain is unheard
as she owns not a mouth
but instead submits to the voice of another.
The shadow
he dances about
following her steps she puts out
mimicking each move that she makes.
he make not a sound
and his presence unknown,
even though the light makes him seen.
he has no choice, as to where or how he voices
the things that go on in his self.

About the RIPPLE EFFECT.
This image of the shadow of the Earth is calculated with some pictures of the recent moon eclipse (03/03/2007). Each image of the lunar eclipse was divided by the image of the full moon (reference) to eliminate the variation of reflection light. The curve of light was then extended on all surface of the shadow. the umbra is to amplify 1000 times compared to penumbra. See in spaceweather

In ancient Indian legends, the flute player was the symbol of happiness and joy, a fertility god, and a traveling prankster. According to some, he traveled north from Mexico, stopping at many southwestern villages, spreading news, music and happiness.When he left, the crops were plentiful and the women were pregnant.
The weekly theme is shadows, so I snuck up behind Kokopelli and his fleeing maiden and caught their shadow.

Experimenting with different things and rather like this shot. I love the shadow and the way it shows the shape of the tree which is only visible as a bit of trunk..
