Hi there,

I found a clump of poppies on a recent neighbourhood walk. This made me very happy because I love poppies. I was even happier that the bee showed up just as I took this backlit image.

Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving me a comment. I do love hearing from you!

Have a wonderful day!

HMBT and 😊Happy Donnerstagsmonochrom😊!

As the woods are the same, the trees standing in their places, the rocks and the earth... they are always different too, as lights and shadows and seasons and moods (and creatures) pass through them.

I've always liked shadows, as seen on a walk and converted to monochrome.

I learnt about the following many years ago, which gives the darkest possible view of shadows:

Craziness is now a part of our normal. I guess our shadow is the only thing we can be close to now. I believe the world is going to change after this. I say this because I do not think economies can survive a prolonged lull like this.

Be safe and stay close to your shadow,

Happy Macro Mondays
