Shadow, my favourite dog (don't tell Buddy).

She's not as handsome, she's not as big. She's not as young.

That's why I love her - she needs me as much as I need her!

Day 21

I ordered myself a not so little christmas present last week and it showed up on my doorstep this evening. I got a great deal on this 5'x3.5' six in one collapsable reflector. It came in a box that was humorously large and it was quite exciting to snap open for the first time. I plan on using this big ol reflector quite a bit in the future, good purchase.

SHADOW TANGO

We were staying over at a friends house, I went outside for a breath of fresh air, before bed, I love the night-air, the silence, the reflecting lights... I turned around and saw this on the wall... a couple dancing, flicking the legs, well my camera is never far away, my tripod was in the boot of the car, I do always find something to 'steady', plus, again, focus, take a DEEEEEP breath, hold it, click, breathe out... DONE

Etymological origin of its common name Squirrel is from the Greek word, skiouros, meaning shadow-tailed.

This one was sittin' in a tree yesterday morning in the somewhat chilly Capitol Hill neighborhood. Its tail covers its body to help keep it warm when it's not huntin' nuts or runnin' from Forest, who when asked why he constantly wants to chase squirrels answered, "I do it not because it is easy, but because it is hard."

I want to make everyone aware of this issue in Japan both locally and internationally............they are shunned far too much. If you know of any humanitarian groups for homeless in Japan that may need images to convey thier message. Please direct them to me. I really want to do something with these images to help them.

I didn't like all that busy grass and snow and sidewalk. And it's my world. If I don't want them, I can throw them away. In PS, anyway.
