A photo of Oxford from last year. This one was taken with the fish-eye lens - I know we typically try our best to not get shadows in a photo, but in the case I thought it added to the image.
Very busy and hectic week ahead for me, so will comment whenever I can.
Blimey, after approx 11 months without a photo in Explore just found out that this one has got to #215 in Explore on Tue 19 Mar 2013.

Misschien is dit wel een stijl, gemanipuleerde bloemenfoto's???
Shadow Bass - a new fish for Kevin to check off his specie list. These are found in Ozark water in specific conditions. They arent everywhere, but they are there if you know where to look. This wasnt the biggest fish, but was by far the coolest looking.

With the strong summer shadows I've been trying to channel my inner Valérie Jardin and shooting shadows. Cambridge being a dense city with few high rise buildings makes for great shadows, but most of the things the shadows fall upon are quite noisy, so I've found it hard to pull off what I've been trying to capture. Thankfully this white building provided a nice canvas.
Week #4 of 52 of 2012
Theme: Shadow
The lamp sits on top of a bookcase in the corner of my living room. It gives off this wonderful shadow pattern. The vintage Ricard bottle I brought back from a walking holiday in Corsica (where they are used as water carafes in restaurants) and the paperweight was a present for my duties as bridesmaid at my sister's wedding more than 25 years ago. Both objects sit on top of the bookcase too, I repositioned them slightly to include them in the shot. I added a light texture, vignette and adjusted the colour and exposure to give it a more aged feel.
