My 1st custom painted toy.
I started off with panel lining, then detail painting for the chipping. I then finished her off with about 4 washes of various yellow and brown tones.
Afterwards i took a fine brush and shaded it with a dark wash.
This took about a days work to complete, and i really liked focusing simply on painting an

A 4 shot pano taken in Myakka State Park in Florida. I stopped the car when I saw what I thought would make a decent shot.
Needless to say it didn't, so I wandered around for a few minutes until I found this huge tree, which I think is a Live Oak, but could be wrong.
There was no way I'd fit the thing in one shot, even with the lens at 17mm lens, so I opted to break out the panoramic head and make a decent panorama out of it.

Lions have suffered significant population declines over the last several decades with only an estimated 32,000 individuals remaining in the wild, down from over 100,000 living 50 years ago. In the wild, the average lifespan of lions is approximately 12-15 years but in captivity they can live over 20 years. They are truly loved in Miami.
no pp has been done here, this is as it is.....sun was shining on one side and it was getting dark on the other side.

Except maybe good shade with a sandwich. Or chocolate.

Summer 2015: "Up was Down"
June 7th: drying out, exploring Road Canyon.
Walking around doing lunch and shopping in Seaside, needed the shade of the palms to cool off. The beach is hot in August! I liked the way the sun was showing through the fronds and decided to shoot it. As I was developing I noticed the dish or Frisbee stuck in the top of the tree!
