*Lincoln Train Museum displays model trains & layouts, along with artifacts related to Abraham Lincoln.
Finding new life as a traveling library, this bus was originally a long-distance passenger carrier. The converted interior includes bookshelves, decor, an original rear bench seat, and a gramophone. Luggage compartments are converted to hold books, and a trap-door compartment was added below the deck of the upper level to store even more books; In total, the bus contains over 60 minifig books. A fully-detailed engine lives behind the rear axles, and one side of the roof is removable to display the interior.

Some of you have seen this Nativity set before. This year, I was going for a specific picture (this isn't it). But, realizing that it would require some photoshopping, I put it on the back burner. Plus, Kate noted that my dumbass idea would most likely be blasphemous and offensive to Christians among you. So I held off. You may see it, someday. The idea is pretty stupid and weird. Which are my favorite kind.
BTW, when Kate set this up (she's in charge of Christmasing the house), I chided her because she put the infant in the manger. I told her that Jesus isn't supposed to be there until Christmas day. So, TODAY it's appropriate.

A cellar window in a old French Army barracks, Caserne Lefebvre*
The building has been beautifully restored externally. Internally, it is now divided up into residential apartments. Photo taken in strong, slanting winter mid-day light.
NB - For ESLs "set in stone" is an idiom used to indicate that something--especially a law or a rule--is permanent.

Here is my latest Diorama. This is a high rise apartment that is featured in 'Young Dolls In Love'. I wasn't sure about the yellow draperies! They are really bright! I may still tone it down with a more earthy color!
