Can a person have too many sun set and sun rise shots..;) Anyway, I took this same shot about 2 years ago and since I was in Rockport with time on my hands, I decided to take the same shot again. And, it doesn't look much different..:) Except, this time I had a better ND filter so I didn't get any flares. Other wise, it's the same sun and probably the same boats. When I had my boat I kept it at the Marina thinking If I had it sitting in the water, I would use it more. Not so much. Finally sold it.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a black and white day at Color my world Daily and we celebrate Sliders Sunday.
My weekend was super busy but very cool !! It was almost back to pre-pandemic era normal ! We had lots of kids over (my sons’s friends), my parents came and we had a power shortage !! I know that putting two exclamations points after a « power shortage » makes it feel like something very positive but in the end it was ! We had a BBQ with candles and lots of gin and tonic. It is hot as hell in Montreal right now so spending a night without AC was truly difficult but luckily for us the electricity came back just in time.
Today is my running day so I feel like this egg: I’m set free to go ! Since it is very hot, I will run inside. So far I did 295,2km this month and I hope I will get me badge (I know it is very insignificant but I have a very addictive personality !!) and be able to get to 400km until the end of this month…
Once again, with the power being out for more than 3 hours, I didn’t had the time to answer your comments. I will catch up as soon as possible…

I wish I would have seen her emerge... they are definitely not like the Monarchs, but after planting all their host plants in my garden, I hope to raise many of my own.... this was one of two chrysalis my friend gave me... they made their chrysalis August 2021!

My friend had been right to reproach me, from the minute i set foot on this magnificent forest, I knew this was my kind of environment.
The Muir Woods National Monument is an old-growth coastal redwood forest. Due to its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, the forest is regularly shrouded in a coastal marine layer fog, contributing to a wet environment that encourages vigorous plant growth. The fog is also vital for the growth of the redwoods as they use moisture from the fog during drought seasons, and in particular the dry summer months.

A pretty cool set of EMD road power leads an eastbound freight over the DT&I diamond for "Tower Tuesday". KN tower protected this place, and the train is under the watchful eye of the operator. Look's "Plain Jane" like but the power being made up of a GP-38AC, GP-18, and an SD-35 seems kind of neat to me.
