Passing through Aylesbury town center working school service 882 having just departed the St Henry Floyd Grammar School is (J166UNH 246) a 1992 Alexander bodied Tris axle Leyland Olympian seen out on its first week after the summer half term period. New in Hong Kong & formally operated for Stagecoach in Manchester for Magic Bus services.
Church street (Luton) is where we see Arriva the shires (N39JPP 5139) a Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian seen working driver shuttle services from the Luton Arriva garage. The bus had operated on route 27 earlier in the day before returning to usual shuttle and school duties. New to Luton & District in 1996.

Seen parked up between duties on rural route 291 at Kidderminster bus station is this Plaxton bodied Mercedes 814D (T74WGH) of R&B Travel seen before heading to Tenbury Wells via Bewdley. New in 1998 to Heathrow Airport for P&R services.
A ' fall on ' for Michael ... He told me that he had no idea that this was coming.... The DEMU Pullman Set was photographed betwixt Swan Village and Hill Top. It's 6.39pm on Sunday 24th April,1966. This is ECS, with the set presumably returning from attention at Swindon, and all being well, it would be off to London Paddington at 7am on Monday. Introduced in 1960, the design was clearly a front runner for the IC125 HST of the mid 1970's. How pleasing to see one retro liveried today. The beguiling livery of Nanking Blue with Pullman crests was totally ruined aesthetically with the mandatory addition of full yellow ends from 1967.

L116HHV a 1993 Northern Counties Paladin bodied (Step entrance) Dennis Dart is seen in Towersey village whilst operating service 120 to Thame. The vehicle has seen some recent uses in public service in various areas and this is not the first time this vehicle has operated on this route, back in the summer of 2015 it was used as an emergency replacement. Vale Travel use this vehicle on tuesdays only due to higher capacity needed but is odd seeing the DDA enforcement has come into affect. Good to see it still in service and ignoring the pointless european regulations. The manual blind still partly displays Bletchely 24 hinting its recent uses in the Milton Keynes area.
