DHL (Hello - Servus Austria Livery) 757-223(PCF) Reg: OE-LNZ "Postman 1 Tango Quebec" departing Shannon in nice evening light.
Munich, Germany, as seen by ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti aboard the International Space Station for her Minerva Mission. She posted those images to her social media on 2 September 2022 with the following caption:
Servus Minga! So many great memories come to mind when we have a pass over southern Germany and I can spot Munich and Garching. Zooming in I can even recognize the unique shape of the mechanical engineering faculty of @TU_Muenchen where I studied! #MissionMinerva

This is a new species of stink bug for me. They are a serious pest for farmers and cause a lot of crop damage. Here at the lake, they are not doing much harm.

On a rather stormy day, one day before Hong Kong pretty much came to a standstill due to typhoon Haima, AUSTRIAN 68 is seen heading back home to Vienna/VIE after a runway 07R departure.
This frame, named 'Spirit of Austria', operated the airlines' very first service to the city on 06 Sep 2016, then it sported the special decals of "Servus Hong Kong" which were now replaced by Lufthansa Group, Austrian Airlines' parent company.
Servus und gute Reise!
Good to see Austrian Airlines back in our city. They resumed services in September 2016 after suspending flights in 1999.
OE-LPD is seen here making a 07R departure as OS068 back to Vienna. This frame carries the "Servus Hong Kong" titles on the left side for celebrating the resumption of flights to HKG. It’s just such a shame it’s only displayed on one side.
