Flight OS68 home-bound to Vienna/VIE is pictured gaining speed on its runway 07R departure.
The Triple 7 was originally delivered to Lauda Air in March 2002, then named 'Sir Donald Bradman', before it joined Austrian Airlines in September 2005.
Currently the frame is named 'Dream of Freedom', and has had its first flight in March 2002.

The word 'Servus' on the underside of the aircraft basically means 'Hello!' and 'Goodbye!' in the Germanic languages.

Today is a special day for Austrian Airlines and HKIA as the city has seen the introduction of a new route, connecting Vienna with Asia's world city.
For this event, this Boeing 777 named 'Spirit of Austria' received additional decals reading "Servus Hong Kong".
Servus is German/Austrian for Hello and also Goodbye.
The Triple 7 is here seen lined-up runway 25L and ready to depart as flight OS68 for the return leg to Vienna/VIE.
Lucanus servus. This photo was not taken by me, but I found it in my collection of old nature slides. I’m sure I was given this slide by the late Percy Gravett who was a keen entomologist who live in Hull. He was an old man in mid-1970’s when I met him, and I was only about 14 years old. He taught me (or at least tried to) about entomology and took me on natural history days out around east and north-east Yorkshire. Unfortunately, I’ve no idea where Percy took this photograph. The species is largely confined to southern England so perhaps he was on an entomological holiday down south.
This is the largest beetle in Britain and Europe. Only the males have the enlarged mandibles which they fight with as they compete for mating rights.
