Thanks, helpful hands, for helping organize our Sunday School storage!

After the guy hacked the Durian open with a rusty machete, Hien served it up. The plate on the right has one serving. Kind of a slimy outside with a firmer inside.

Hospitality Training Academy and UNITE HERE Local 11 hospitality workers, in partnership with local L.A. hotels and event venues, celebrated an incredible milestone for the "Serving Our Community" program they launched during the pandemic to help feed people in need while keeping workers of shut-down industries employed, serving its 3 MILLIONTH free meal.

The free meals have been a lifeline through the now year-long pandemic for approximately 10,000 homebound seniors, people experiencing homelessness and low-income families. The program also provided over a thousand jobs to recently laid off union and non-union hospitality workers, including taxi drivers that serve as the delivery drivers.

We have too many self-serving politicians who are more interested in looking out for their own career, political interests rather than listening to and serving the needs of the American people.

Uni-in-cabbage redux and Daikon

Finally put the chevron cutting board together. Now I'm calling it "Chevron Serving Tray". One of the Zig Zag strip is a bit off, but it doesn't look so bad after frame pieces are in. I'm going to try this again and make it PERFECT next time.

With summer sausage, deviled egg & pepperoni horns, poached salmon, five kinds of lunch meat, egg plant with tomato tapenade, & stuffed mushrooms.
