Standing together with Lynne Campbell who was ordained together with me. All of the elders were partnered with new local pastors to serve communion - I served in the balcony (as one of the younger pastors?!!!) and was honored to serve some of the folks from Peoples.

Serving tongs are a necessity when serving hot food.

Not everybody has fingers of steel to pick up hot food items, and it is probably best not to have everybody putting their fingers in the bowl for sanitary reasons.

Use a different tong for each type of food to keep form mixing different flavors.

Tongs are good for salads, slaws, vegetables, corn on the cob, lobsters, and many other hot and cold items.
