Serving tongs are a necessity when serving hot food.
Not everybody has fingers of steel to pick up hot food items, and it is probably best not to have everybody putting their fingers in the bowl for sanitary reasons.
Use a different tong for each type of food to keep form mixing different flavors.
Tongs are good for salads, slaws, vegetables, corn on the cob, lobsters, and many other hot and cold items.

The police is everywhere in China at all times. At a public event like this, there's scores if them. They had a hard time from keeping the crowds swarming the streets as the parade approached.

What's weird is that the pizza comes with exactly the right number of
pepperoni to do this, but they're in a big heap when you get it out of
the box.
Cullman Emergency Medical Services (Cullman EMS) opened their doors wide Saturday – serving popular plates of famous Swamp John’s food – to over 400 generous citizens from across Cullman County beginning at 11 am.
The reason for this gathering is now well known: Claire Byars
Claire Byars is 10 months old. She has been treated inside Children’s of Alabama for almost 3 months. She has a large, inoperative tumor in her pelvis. There is no known treatment protocol; it is called an Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumor (IMT).
In an effort to help the Byars with the substantial medical costs involved in Claire’s medical situation, Cullman EMS Ambulance Center hosted this rare, lunch time version of Swamp Johns Community Catering.
The event itself was a resounding success:
✪ 415 plates were sold along with various other donations, including an order for 19 meals that was paid for with a $500 check from a nearby automotive service business.
✪ Perhaps better than the funds raised, guests to the event learned that Claire and her parents Jeff and Heather Byars all finally returned home from Children’s of Alabama yesterday afternoon.
Also, a huge of thanks is due Adam and Melissa Taylor. They largely put this fundraiser together with an impressive hosting assist from Cullman EMS and their personnel (who effortlessly kept emergency ambulance services going in Cullman with ZERO disruption).
Bethsadia Volunteer Fire Department were instrumental in providing assistance with setup and serving.
