It suddenly appeared in the middle of the road and against the light. It then disappeared quickly in between the grass. It's unbelievable how a creature this size becomes completely camouflaged. I only had time to point the lens and take a couple of photos.

I was so excited to be able to see and photograph one of these cats in day light! Serval cats are mostly nocturnal! This photo was taken in the Masai Mara, Kenya!

These lovely cats were one hunted (like most cats) for their beautifully marked fur coats "Yuck".
Another shot of the elusive SERVAL in the red early morning sun light. A very hard animal to find much less photograph. I have several captures that I will be posting over a period of time.

Kamari is almost 3 months old. He was born to first time mom Onshe on 10/7/2014. He behaves just like a kitten. When Mom gets into the action the experience is delightful.
