We haven't visited this Park for many years, and there have been lots of changes. So many places to stay now, but the animals are still wonderful. Huge enclosures, which do mean sometimes you don't see the inhabitants at all, but sometimes we got lucky.
This gorgeous serval sat like this for ages - didn't seem worried to be so close to us at all. They have really long legs, a shortish black-tipped tail, and a lovely small kittenish face.
On our Surprise Sunrise Stroll at the San Diego Zoo we met Kalari the 5 month old Serval. Shani is the Mom and she came out for a little while. Kalari was busy playing with a paper bag filled with hay and hunting scent and a feather toy with the keeper
