A calm moment taken from a ferry boat from Thasos island to mainland Greece. These days it seems everything, even minor things are giving me a lot of stress, the car horns, the ambulance sirens, the heat, the inescapable construction noise wherever I go, my stupid dishwasher, my car, the spike in crime and vandalism in my neighborhood, flickr's slowness, and I don't even want to get started about work.... I won't be active much on this site either, I need to deal with my personal demons for a while.

Although DC area dodged the bullet with a powerful winter storm that hit the east coast last weekend, the storm still dumped a couple of inches snow and brought wind chill temperature to a single digit. Venturing out in the bitter cold at a local park, I found winter serenity.
The photo received the 3rd prize award at the Green Spring Gardens’ first Judged Photography Contest 2022.
Haciendo un recorrido fotográfico por "La Alhambra" junto a mi hermano y unos cuantos amigos más con igual pasión por la fotografía. Mi hermano se fijó en esta mujer, a la que pidió permiso para hacerle alguna fotografía, ella accedió...Yo me encontraba algunos metros más atrás y al darme cuenta del momento y de la ocasión, decidí también intentar capturar el retrato de este rostro de serena belleza oriental.

Taking a photographic tour of "La Alhambra" with my brother and a few other friends with the same passion for photography. My brother noticed this woman, from whom he asked permission to take a photograph of her, she agreed... I was a few meters behind and when I realized the moment and the occasion, I also decided to try to capture the portrait of this face of serene oriental beauty.

Alone on a wilderness lake, deep in northern Canada. Water so still that it reflects the autumn colors and the azure sky. A lone boat tied to the dock, waiting for one last ride before winter's ice closes in.
Took this pic a while back and forgot to post it. I love it when before our sets, we get a few moments to enjoy together, be it dancing, being snuggling on a carpet in the forest in the middle of our Bonfire Night celebration. ♥
