Another one of my conceptual abstract picture here, I used photoshop and paintshop pro to create this abstract moon or planet like picture, but think the bird adds a kind of serene moment to it...
Plus I think the world could do with some serenity at the moment...

View from Meran 2000, South Tyrol (Italy), at the end of a wonderful hike, which was - as far as the weather was concerned - quite nail-biting: thunderclouds seemed to chase us all day long - but we were faster : ))
In a few hours (Sunday, December 22nd, 2019, 04:19 UTC) is Solstice - the days are getting longer again, finally !!
I may be a little bit slow the next few days with visiting your streams ... trying to unwind and to find back to serenity after these crazy days lately ; ))

Am Sonntag Morgen, 22. Dezember 2019, 05:19 ist die Wintersonnenwende - die Tage werden endlich wieder länger, ja !
Es kann sein, dass ich die nächsten Tage mit dem Besuch eurer Streams etwas langsam bin - ich werde ein bisschen die Seele baumeln lassen und versuchen, nach all den verrückten Tagen wieder zu Ruhe und Gelassenheit zu finden ; ))

Silversands Beach at Lossiemouth Moray. A fitting yet ironic title when this serene scene includes wartime relics, with a row of tank traps and a pill box on the right hand of the shot all of which are being withered away by nature. A nice view of Covesea Skerries lighthouse with an almost tangerine sky.
